Nearly

Well, we nearly made it to my family reunion today.

Then we nearly missed the window to pick the husband's car up from the dealership.

But before all that, we nearly lost the dog.  She fit through some slats in the fence.  I realized she hadn't come to the door or even run past it in far too long.  So, we investigated, and there was no dog in the backyard.  And no one came when we called.

Several explitives were muttered and the hunt commence. 

And thankfully it ended as soon as it began.  A very scared puppy ran straight up the driveway and barreled into me.  PHEW!

So, after all that excitement, a nap was taken and then a chai was consumed.

Ahhh....now don't you feel better?  I do.
