I'm a goofball! I just love celebrating good things. So, yesterday, I took ice cream to the ladies at work in honor of the anniversary of our proposal. I know, I know, who celebrates that?! Well, I contend that we SHOULD celebrate it because it's a happy event that changes the course of our lives! Plus, everyone loved that I 1) brought ice cream and 2) did something unorthodox. We sat around the conference table in our department with dishes of black walnut ice cream, and every lady at the table recanted the story of their proposal. Each was wildly different and very fun to listen to. It was the highlight of my day.
So, please, go out and celebrate something off the wall! It might even brighten someone else's day too!
